Zupiria describes as "serious" the "incyvical behaviour" against the police
EH Bildu has rejected the attacks, but has described them as "one-off events." The PP has asked the Security Adviser about the "political connection" of the Txosna Too Hard, where last Sunday's incidents occurred.
The Security Adviser of the Basque Government, Bingen Zupiria, has stressed the "seriousness" of the incidents that took place this Sunday morning in Bilbao, which he described as "incyvical" and "unacceptable" behaviour, and has regretted that "very young" people participated in them and, in this regard, "there is social and family responsibility".
In an interview in Onda Vasca, Zupiria pointed out that this summer's "main trend has been tranquillity" and stressed that there has been close cooperation between the Ertzaintza and the local police and an important presence on the streets.
He admits that there have been incidents in Eibar, Arrasate and elsewhere, and that we must "condemn this anguish and draw the attention of society."
With regard to what happened in the early morning hours of Sunday in Bilbao, he pointed out that "very young people have been seen throwing objects at agents of the Ertzaintza and the local police", which "are unacceptable, incyvical behaviour that should not be standardised under any circumstances".
EH Bildu: "These are one-off events"
The spokeswoman for EH Bildu at the Bilbao City Council, María del Río, has rejected the attacks suffered by the Ertzaintza, but has pointed out that these are "one-off events" that do not "tarnish" the Big Week: "We certainly reject them, but well, without wanting to magnify them or understand that it represents Big Week because we believe it does not represent it."
The PP asks to know the "political connection" of the txosna too harshly
The Basque PP has registered two questions addressed to the Security Adviser to learn about the "political connection" of the txosna Gogorregi.
These two initiatives, presented by Member of Parliament Ainhoa Domaica, also seek to find out what role the premises played in preventing events, as reported on Monday by the party.
The letter asks Zupiria what she thinks of these events, explains that there was a fight between two women and that many of the people present provoked them, so she asks to know who the owners, managers and managers of the txosna are, accusing the party of being linked to the PNV.
