There are still six active fires in Castile and Leon, none of the most serious, and one in Almeria, in the municipality of Lubrin.

The Navarre Government has already authorized the felling of damaged trees and, after meeting with farmers, they have begun to explore the possibility of entering the fire extinguishment operations in a regulated manner and with the greatest guarantees. 

Meanwhile, groups and trade unions have gathered outside the Cortes de Castilla y León to demand resignations and denounce the lack of resources in the operation.

Under the slogan 'Bad management. Quiñones resignation!' (Bad management. Quiñones resignation!), hundreds of people have called for the resignation of the Chairman of the Junta de Castilla y León, the Environmental Adviser and the Director General of Natural Heritage and Forestry Policy.

Weather change and firefighters' work have helped control the big fires.

In response to PP Senator Luis Santamaria, the Minister of the Interior recalled the powers in the field of emergencies and accused PP members of "throwing balls out."

13 fires are still in operational condition, most of them in Castile and Leon. The expected weather conditions in the next few hours will be beneficial for their control and extinction.

Since the beginning of the summer fire wave, some 34,000 people have been evicted and 413,992 hectares have been burned in 268 fires, and 48 people have been arrested for their alleged involvement.

In Galicia more than 95,000 hectares have been burned in the summer forest fires, but only three active fires of more than 20 hectares remain, two in Ourense and one in Lugo.

The risk remains extreme and the risk level will not drop until Thursday or Friday, so the authorities have called for extreme caution.

Pedro Sánchez will approve the measure in the Council of Ministers and create an inter-ministerial committee on climate change to strengthen the response to the crisis.

The accident occurred in the town of Rosporden, in the French department of Finistere, when a helicopter, which was working to extinguish a fire, went to load water. It started spinning while it was maneuvering and eventually crashed into the water.

Six fires remain at the highest level of gravity and two have been declared this very Sunday. The positive development of the last few days has allowed six others to be taken under control. However, rising temperatures, coupled with reduced humidity and wind, complicate the situation again.

Of the most worrying forest fires, five are in Leon, while in Asturias the three largest fires have been stabilized.

Progress is slow in the focus on the different provinces of Spain, although some of them have already been considered under control.
