The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal in cassation filed by the defence of the convicted person and found him guilty of a crime of hyper-aggravated murder.

The accused, a native of Pamplona and diagnosed with a mental disorder, must compensate the victim with EUR 3 million. Since the date of the incident, he has been in pre-trial detention and will no longer be able to communicate with the injured person or approach him less than 200 metres for 20 years.

The events took place in March 2023 in the Zabalgana neighbourhood, when agents intercepted a young man who was riding an electric scooter in a forbidden area.

Theleaderof the A0PP has told the judge that on October 29  has sent "all the messages" sent toMazon ,making it clear that "no messages have been deleted from that chat", as wellas messages and answers fromthe former president of the Generalitat .

The Public Prosecutor's Office considers that some of the fundamental rights of the former Spanish Attorney General  have been violated and therefore requests the annulment of the sentence. 

A number of trials will focus on the judicial interest throughout next year.

These two minors and two adults, who will be tried in March, attempted to stab a minor on 13 March because the victim "tried to hook up" with one of them's girlfriend at school.
