CAF reached sales of 4,487 million in 2025, 7% more than the previous year
According to data released this Saturday at the Beasain General Shareholders Meeting, the company made a net profit of 146 million euros in 2025, 42% more than a year earlier.
Construction and Railway Auxiliary (CAF) has released last year's economic data and company forecast for 2026 at its General Shareholders Meeting in Beasain on Saturday. It reached salesof 4,487 million euros in 2025, 7% more than in 2024, and plans to continue to grow.
Javier Martínez Ojinaga , CEO, has set himself the goal for the coming years of "continuing to grow profitably, gradually improving margins, maintaining sound financial discipline and continuing to create sustainable value in the long term." One of the keys to meeting these goals is thehighest contract ever signed with Belgium , amounting to EUR 3.4 billion.
In his speech, Ojinaga said that "unfair competition is being practised by third parties who have received substantial state subsidies," and warned that European companies are "increasingly exposed to them."
146 million earnings
CAF hada net profit of 146 million euros in 2025 (42% more than the previous year), reaching a historic recruitment figure of 6,027 million (28% more than the previous year).
In addition,the order portfolio also remained at a new historical high of 16,235 million, an indicator that has risen to almost 18 billion euros at the close of the first quarter of 2026, according to data provided by Ojinaga.
Despite the fact that the railway business is the centrepieceofthe company, the "bus segment" is becoming more and more powerful as one more "value generating engine." Thus, the CEO has revealed that\ u00A0 Solaris reached "record figures" in 2025, both in terms of hiring (more than €2 billion) and sales (€1.2 billion).
For his part, thechairman of the group, Andrés Arizkorreta, has highlighted the corporate governance model, "based on compliance with regulations, respect for human rights and compliance with the strictest ethical standards, and aimed at protecting the social interest and creating lasting value."
Protests
Prior to the General Shareholders Meeting, convened by Amnesty International and a dozen NGOs, a rally was held in front of the CAF headquarters by dozens of people protesting the company's participation in the Jerusalem light train connecting Israel and Palestine.
