During the months of June, July and August, the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao received 488,971 visitors, 10,656 more than the previous year.

Upon completion of the expansion, the entrance to the museum will be free from 6 to 13 October.

The most significant balconies of Pamplona have become a real tablao these days thanks to a new edition of Flamenco On Fire. Gaur noon, from the balcony of the town hall, the popular singer Pedro Heredia 'El Granaino' has offered an intimate and emotional recital, accompanied by the great guitarist of Gabriel Lorente. Flamenco On Fire will continue tomorrow in the same place, where the session of the master José Merce is scheduled.

Specifically, the well-known artist died on August 14 in a hospital in Tokyo. In 2023, the Guggenheim hosted the exhibition "Yayoi Kusama: from 1945 to the present." Kusama began painting at the age of 10, using obsessive repetition of moons and patterns such as nets and arches.

The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, in addition to being an emblematic work of the contemporary era, has made it possible to place Bilbao as an international cultural reference point and has had a profound and beneficial impact on the tourism, economic and social development of the area.

The facility confronts the legendary performances of Nina Simone (1966) and David Bowie (1976) "Wild is the Wind", separated for a decade.

In the Rekalde Hall, the travelling exhibition of support for the new artists of Bizkaia has been opened. It will remain in Bilbao until 18 October, from where it will be held in Barakaldo (21-november-5), Basauri (6-29 November) and Igor (30-abendiu 30 November).

In 1976, the famous 1st century marble sculpture was discovered in the vicinity of the parish church of Arkaia. The piece, 13 cm high, 9.5 cm wide and 6.5 cm deep, has been missing for 46 years, until it was returned by the PNV spokesman at the General Meetings of Álava, Jon Buesa, at the request of the judge. It can be seen until 30 September at the Bibat Museum of Archaeology.

The exhibition, curated by Ángel Calvo Ulloa, brings together the work done by Carla Filipe and Taxio Ardanaz on graphic languages and political representation, which will open on July 3 at the Donostiarra center and will be exhibited until January 10.

The 100,000-visitor to the Museum of Fine Arts, remodeled and reopened in November, is an 8-year-old bayonet girl who has received a free year-round ticket from the museum's director, Arthur Etchegoyen.
