In the last ten years, all the public contracts signed by the Basque Government have been reviewed in order to ascertain whether any of them were related to the 'Koldo case' companies, and no irregularities have been found in the 2,022 awards with other companies or UTEs mentioned in this case.

The lehendakari,Imanol Pradales , announced a month ago that the Basque Government would review all the public contracts signed bythe Basque Government over the past ten years to find out if any of them were related to companies linked to the 'Koldo case', but then ensured that there was no "slightest indication, information or suspicion"of fraud related to this case.
This Tuesday, at the press conference following the meeting of the Governing Council, the spokeswoman fortheBasque Government , Maria Ubarretxena, presented the conclusions of this investigation, reviewing the possible engagements with 19 companies related to the Basque businessman Antxon Alonso, none of which appear as biddersor as bidders of any contract.
In addition, public contracts with other business groups and UTEs have been reviewed, which appear in the 'Koldo case' file or have been questioned by the Basque parliamentary groups, with a total of 3,663 recruitment processes, some of which have appeared in 10 years, in 2,022 cases in the Basque Country that have been awarded a public contract.
However, only 0.33% of public awards areinthe 10-year period, and the report notes that there is no irregularity in the procurement processes under review.
In the Basque Government, the above-mentioned companies have participated in 1,393 processes, of which 739 have been awarded.
