Cuba is recovering powerfrom 16 Cuban thermal power stations and two generators, after a second 24-hour blackout in a week, according to the Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem).
The Electrical Union (UNE) has reported that around 70% of the electricity service has been restored in Havana, giving priority to the circuits and water supply infrastructures where hospitals are located. However, it has warned that the electricity generation deficit is still affecting and is still in place to restore current in 90 circuits.
