Ibone Bengoetxea: "In Venice, we also want to show what we want to be"
The Basque Government has been working these days to make the Basque arts more stable in the Biennial of Venice in the Italian city, developing the project "I Baschi alla Biennale 1976/2026". The aim is for the Basque Country to have its own presence in the Biennial from 2028, as explained by the Councillor of Culture.

'evil. Auschwitz 1945 - Gaza 2025 'was inaugurated this Wednesday at the University Pavilion of the Álava campus of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) by the Valencian artist Artur Heras. The exhibition, curated by Anacleto Ferrer, denounces genocide "from a committed and bold artistic look." Gasteiz will remain in the Experience Rooms of Bilbao from 6 to 22 May.
