At least 19 people have been arrested during the riots at the Spanish Falange meeting in Vitoria-Gasteiz

At least 19 people have been arrested today in the riots at the rally called by Falange Españolain Vitoria-Gasteiz, according to theBasque Government's Department of Security.

The Department of Safety and Security has reported that 19 persons have been arrested for the time being on charges of public disorder. All the persons arrested are persons involved in the counter-operation. The incidents have also caused extensive material damage, such as damaged vehicles, burnt and dumped containers, broken cobblestones and erected archets.
The investigation is still open and further arrests are not ruled out.

Following what happened at the Falange rally, the Free Organization organized a demonstration this afternoon in solidarity with the detainees and wounded.
Under the slogan "Release the detainees", demonstrators marched from the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca at 5 p.m. to demand the release of the detainees.
