The General Secretariat for External Action of the Basque Government hascontacted the citizens and companies of the Basque Country in the Middle East on security issues in the area that may arise from the attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States .
In this situation of uncertainty, it recommends that they remain calm, avoid unnecessary travel and comply with the security instructionsof the representatives of Spain and the European Union.
The Government has made available to Basque citizens and companies "all its institutional support and coordination", including monitoring of the situation, coordination with the competent Spanish and European authorities, providing relevant and up-to-date information on security and mobility and supporting ACV personnel displaced to the region.
