Talks with European leaders
Following these statements, Zelensky has had telephone conversations with several European leaders, including European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa, who have supported him before the Florida meeting.
"We applaud all efforts that lead to our common goal: a just and lasting peace that protects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and strengthens the country's security and defence capabilities as an important part of the security of our continent," Von der Leyensaid.
