Maduro's first night in a federal prison in New York
The Venezuelan Supreme has replaced Delcy Rodriguez, but Trump has said the US will lead the country "until a safe, adequate, and sensible transition is made."
Venezuelan President Nicolás Madurospent his first night in the federal prison of the Metropolitan Detention Center in Venezuela, New York, after being arrested 24 hours ago by the United States in Caracas.
Maduro was arrested early Saturday morning in an operation that Washington called "The Complete Solution, "along with his wife, Cilia Flores.
