Israeli attacks on Gaza have killed more than 100 Palestinians since Monday, according to the latest balance sheet provided by the Ministry of Health in the Strip.
At least 88 people were killed on Monday and 20 more Palestinians were killed on Tuesday by Israeli bombings, and five other bodies have been recovered from the rubble in the last few hours, the Ministry of Health added.
According to the Palestinian authorities, there are still at least 2,500 bodies inthe rubble, which in most cases cannot be reached by civil defence teams because they are in areas ordered to evacuate by Israel.
The increase in Israeli attacks and the lack of machinery also complicate these rescue efforts, which would be facilitated if a ceasefire came, Health Ministry Chief Zaher Al Waheidi stressed.

Annexation of the West Bank
On the other hand, Israel continues the annexation of the West Bank, intensifying the killings, attacks and persecution of military forces and settlers, as well as the demolition of thousands of homes and the restriction and forced movement of Palestinians, as reported today by the United Nations Human Rights Office.
Since Israel launched Operation Iron Wall against the West Bank earlier this year, some 30,000 Palestinians have been displaced.
The organization has reported that Israeli forces have fired on unarmed Palestinians, including those trying to return home in Jenin, Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps.
Last month alone, the UN accounted for the largest number of Palestinians killed by settler attacks in more than two decades, a total of 96. In addition, in the first half of the year, there have been 757 such attacks, resulting in casualties or material damage to the Palestinians.
Among the latter is the demolition of 1,400 homes in the north of the West Bank, ordered by the Israeli security forces, as explained by spokesman Thameen Al-Kheetan to journalists at the United Nations in Geneva.
In addition, a group of settlers have launched an attack on a CNN TV team in the West Bank while reporting the death of a Palestinian-American lynched by the Israelis near the city of Ramallah, according to a journalist from that medium.
No decision in the EU and resignations in the UN committee
However, the European Union has today concluded its review of relations with Israel without a decision, but maintains that it will keep the reprisals on the table in order to maintain pressure on Israel and improve the humanitarian situation in order to increase humanitarian aid in the Strip.
In addition, the three members of a UN committee charged with investigating human rights abuses in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories have just resigned. Israel's permanent representative to the UN, Danny Danon, has immediately applauded the decision.
The commission was established in 2021 and was made up of Navi Pillay - who was United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights from 2008 to 2014 - Chris Sidotik and Miloon Kothari . The commission has been strongly criticized by Israel.
