Iran rejects US peace proposal as "excessive"
The Iranian authorities have repeatedly said that the United States and Israel must stop the "attack and assassinations" against Iran, as well as develop specific mechanisms to prevent a recurrence of the attack on Tehran, among others.

Iran rejects the US proposal to end the war launched on 28 February and declares that it is an "abusive" attitude that demonstrates Washington's unwillingness to reach an agreement. It also reiterates that Tehran will set "conditions" for the cessation of hostilities.
According to Iranian television station Press TV, citing a senior political official, Iran has received a proposal from the United States and activated contacts through various diplomatic channels. However, the proposals for the Islamic Republic are "exaggerated" and do not correspond to local reality.
"Iran will end the war when it decides to do so and its own conditions are met," the official said, while Tehran has informed all mediators that the ceasefire is conditional on acceptance of all conditions.
"There will be no negotiations before that, "he said, referring to the parties to the ceasefire agreement and insisting that Iran's reprisals will continue until Iranian conditions are met.
The Iranian authorities have insisted on the need forthe United States and Israel to stop the "attack and assassinations" against Iran, to activate specific mechanisms to prevent a repeat of the attack on Tehran, to accept war reparations and to recognize all international actors as Iran's authority in the Strait of Hormuz.
Pakistan's authorities are prepared to "host meaningful talks" between the United States and Iran to end the war in the Middle East. Pakistan's Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, said he could facilitate talks to "provide a comprehensive solution to the ongoing conflict."
After stressing that there have been "very strong talks" with Iran in recent days and that there is an "important" consensus on points for a possible treaty ending the war with Tehran, Trump has insisted that negotiations will be opened to make the Islamic Republic explicitly renounce nuclear weapons. He also indicated that the agreement could be imminent.
On the Iranian side, they refuse to negotiate with Washington, and the President of the Iranian Parliament, Mohamed Baqer Qalibaf, has attributed all the statements made by the US President about an agreement to an attempt to "manipulate" the price of oil.
