74. The Pearls section of the San Sebastian Film Festival will feature 16 films, most of which have been recognized at major world film festivals, including the latest works by Los Javis, Araujo, Dhont, Hamaguchi, Hong-jin, Mungiu, Moretti, and Zvyagintsev.
Eleven selected films have been in Cannes, including Fjord (Cristian Mungiu) and The Black Ball (Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo), which have won the PalmofGold andthe Best Director Other films have gone through festivals such as Venice, Berlin, Sundance, etc.
