At the same time, Israeli forces have attacked numerous homes in Tehran.
The Iranian Armed Forces have shot down two Israeli fighters and arrested a pilot , local media reported. State television IRIB has announced the downing of the aircraft and the capture of a pilot. The Tasnim agency, linked to the Revolutionary Guard, has confirmed this information, which has not been confirmed by the Persian state authorities.
Putin condemns Israel's attack
Russian President Vladimir Putin has condemned Israel's attack on Iran in a telephone conversation with Iranian leader Masud Pezeshkian, according to the Kremlin.
Moreover, in another conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, he has advocated a peaceful resolution of all issues relating to the Iranian program and has been willing to mediate to avoid escalating tensions.
