Israeli authorities have taken the473 crew members of the Global Sumud Flotillato Saharonim prison in the Negev Desert (southern Israel).
Lawyer Loubna Tuma, a member of the Adalah Flotilla's legal team, has informed the news agencies that this is the number of passengers on ships taken by Israel to prison.
Counsel has not been able to determine how many of these persons have been deported immediately and how many have chosen to stand trial, the two options available to the detainees.
In the first case, they are taken to the airport for a deportation flight, and in the second case a judicial procedure is opened in which a judge decides on deportation; this is a trial that takes longer.
