What will be negotiated from Sunday on the peace plan in Gaza?
The 20-point plan proposed by Donald Trump has not been fully accepted by the Palestinians, as Hamas has called for negotiations on the details of some issues that would remain in the air.
The peace planfor the Gaza Strip will be negotiated from this Sunday. United States representatives left for the meeting in Cairo,Egypt, this Saturday, led by Steve Witkoff .
In this, together with Israeli and Arab negotiators, the Americans will participate inthe negotiations onthe20-point plan, promoted by US President Donald Trump.
Thus, Israeli Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and the Palestinian forces approved , which also approvedthe release of Israeli captives.
The plan is aimed at the endof the war, after whichDonald Trump and formerEU Prime Minister Tony Blair would take over the leadership of a "transitional government, "but to do so they would have to release all the hostages that currently exist, namely those ofHamas and the 250 prisoners and 1,700 other detainees thatIsraelhas.
This very Friday, Trump gave Hamas a deadline until Sunday to accept the peace plan he had proposed, or warned that a "hellnever seen "against the Islamist group would be unleashed.
Although generally accepted by all actors, there are still points on which the three negotiators will have to agree to end the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
The approvalof Donald Trump's plan istherefore not complete inthe Palestinianlands , where Hamas has asked to negotiate details on some issuesthat would remain in the air.
1. Humanitarian aid
On the one hand, it remains to be determined what will happen to humanitarian aid, that is, whether it will againbein the hands of international organisations .
2. Palestine's political future
Despite the US president's "transitional government" proposal, it is not entirely clear what the Palestinian political future will be, according to which a "peace commission" ledby Donald Trump and Tony Blair would lead the new government.
Moreover, the future government would have a "peacekeeping force" in which Hebrew soldierswould also be housed .
Hamas, however, has called for a Palestinian-ledgovernment .
3.
According to the 20-point plan, Hamas should surrender its weapons, cease to be a political actor and exile. This decision does not fully convince the Palestinian group.
