The Ertzaintza has begun to report suspected offenders born in the Basque Country, other Autonomous Communities and abroad, distinguishing in this section those from EU countries, the rest of Europe, the Maghreb, the rest of Africa, Latin America, the United States and Canada, Asia, Oceania and other unspecified foreign countries.

Neighbors helped the victim and held the attacker until Ertzaintza officers arrived.

BBB President Iñigo Ansola has stressed that behind the violence there are always the same protagonists and has said that anyone who does not condemn violence is not a "worthy politician." "Violence has no place in our country. We want peace."
