Auto batek hainbat lagun harrapatu ditu New Yorkeko (AEB) Times Square plazan. Gutxienez, pertsona bat hil da eta beste 22 zaurituta daude.

Ibilgailua abiadura handian sartu da jendez gainezka zegoen plaza ezagunean. Autoaren gidaria atxilotu egin dute. Antza, mozkortuta zihoan.

Harrapaketaren egilea 26 urteko estatubatuar bat da, alkoholaren eraginpean gidatzeagatik aurrekariak dituena.

Segurtasun neurri handiak hartu dituzte gune horretan, AEBetan atentatu arriskuagatik alerta egoeran daudelako. Nolanahi ere, agintariek baztertu egin dute erasoaren hipotesia.
